April 7-9, we again attended Middle East Energy, a world leading gathering of global industry leaders, daring innovators, esteemed experts and key policymakers. Already for the 49th time, tens of thousands of professionals from across the globe flocked into the prestigious Dubai World Trade Center where, among more than 1,600 exhibitors, our booth was ready to welcome anyone interested in what GAZ is doing.
And indeed, most of the time, our colleagues were literally besieged by visitors, as it was the first time when we showcased our line of Li-ion-based battery storage systems in the region. Because as you may remember, the 2024 MEE had to be cancelled due to severe floods. Together with other long-term attendees, we remembered the atmosphere of a year ago when we were locked up in our hotels, hoping for the storm to pass without hurting anyone.
This year, however, the event was a great success. People admired our BESS and inquired about the inception of GAZ Energy brand. But our Ni-Cd portfolio did not go unnoticed either, and we also had many informal discussions about battery technology or the energy sector in general. All in all, the MEE proved once again to be a great opportunity to meet friends, colleagues, and business partners.
